Credit Card Cloning

I would have never thought that this was possible, but after someone spent nearly $2,500 on my account… I am a true believer. Yesterday I received a call from my bank to confirm some transactions that were made using my debit card. The first thing that I did was look to see if my card was still in my wallet…and it was there! After cancelling the card and taking some other steps to avoid losing even more money, I started researching how this was even possible. I found that “Credit Card Cloning” is something that has been going on for some time…and now I am one of the not so proud victims! After making a few phone calls to the police…it was obvious that this happened to me while at a restaurant in Memphis, TN last weekend. Please watch this video and use the information to protect yourself in the future.

Holy Of Holies

Here’s a video of “Holy Of Holies” recorded live at First Baptist Church in Huntingdon, TN. This is actually a song that was written by Geron Davis several years ago. I think that Shawn does a great job. What do you think? Should this be a radio single at some point? Post your comments and let us know what you think!

Singing at Sea a huge success!

This year’s Singing at Sea cruise was a huge success! Nearly 2,300 passengers made their way to Tampa, FL and spent 5 wonderful days aboard the Carnival Inspiration. The weather was perfect and we made stops at Grand Caymen and Cozumel, Mexico. We posted a whole bunch of pictures…so check them out by clicking the link at the top of the page. If you were on the cruise let us know what you thought by posting a comment. Get more information about next years cruise right here.

Snow in the South

dsc01818
It’s funny to me that when snow is in the forecast, we here in the south don’t know how to function. Yesterday, for example, there was a slight chance for some mixed precip. and all the schools shut down. Needless to say it only rained, but the kids enjoyed a day off. Today, on the other hand, we woke up to a little ice and snow mix and Kaela and a friend are trying to build a snowman. I don’t know how well that’s going to work out since there’s only an inch of snow but they’re having fun.

Just thinking out loud,

Shawn

Confession…

I believe there’s truth in the old saying is…”Confession is good for the soul”. I have always taken care of the scheduling and booking for the group and it has not always been an easy task. For me, the past 8 months have been very difficult (between feeding and changing diapers..lol..) But the Lord has always blessed and opened doors that we could have never imagined possible! And that has always resulted from you helping us spread the word about our ministry as we remain faithful and are reminded that this is ALL about HIM and not about us! We have been approached in the past by booking agents that have wanted to work for us…but I have always, for several reasons, been reluctant to give up that responsiblity. So here is my request to you… If you feel that our ministry has encouraged or uplifted you, then spread the word and encourage friends, pastors, churches, or concert promoters that you may know to check out the ministry of The Dills. Please take some time to prayerfully consider how you can help. I appreciate your support as we continue to share The Story Of A Lifetime!

Name that Baby!

a_and_b
We have people that always try to figure out which one is Ansleigh and which one is Bryleigh. They do not look anything alike, and definitely have their own personalities! Post a comment and see if you can “Name that Baby” !

Just Getting Started

Hey, I guess that I will be the first to post…
Ansleigh and Bryleigh amaze me every day. It definitely does not seem like nearly 8 months have already passed. Bridget and I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with them the entire time. I know that most parents do not get that opportunity…so we have cherished every moment. Bryleigh has two teeth and is getting the hang of crawling. Ansleigh, on the other hand, is taking her time…but maybe she will be inspired by watching Bryleigh!
It’s 7:15 am…and almost feeding time.
Until next time,
Tim
