What’s Your Favorite Hymn?

We have always wanted to record a project containing the great songs of the church.  This week we will be choosing songs for a new Hymns project and would love to get your opinion.  It’s going to be difficult to narrow it down to just 10 songs… so let’s hear from you!  What is your favorite Hymn?

Tim Dill Fan Club???

He may be the ONLY member, but Pastor Daryle Hawthorne debuted the official Tim Dill Is My Hero t-shirt on Sunday night in Belton, SC!  He indicated that the shirts would be available immediately and was sure that it would be a huge success!  Although, I’m not convinced that it’s gonna be a profitable venture.  What do you think?  Will it work?

On The Road Again!

Things are really hopping around our house these days!  We’ve had the last two weekends off from singing so we have all been enjoying quality time with family and friends.  Speaking of family, let me thank you all for your prayers in loss of Bridget’s cousin, Jameson Casteel.  He fought a brave, but difficult battle… and is now resting at the feet of Jesus.  Please continue to pray for all of the family.

Shawn and I spent two days this week installing a new sound system at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely.  So if your within a hundred miles of there and hear some loud music, they’re probably just playing with all of the new gadgets! (Try not to hurt anybody Bert!) lol

We hit the road again today bound for South Carolina.  I think that we’re all geared up for the weekend as we anticipate what the Lord has in store!

As always we encourage you to let us know what’s been happening in your life too!  Do you need us to pray about anything? Have you received any exciting news that you would like to share? Post it below…it might just be the encouragement that someone else needs to hear!

Earth’s Loss, Heaven’s Gain…

It’s 2:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
Watching you as you lay there,
Machines humming, meds dripping, your nurse busy,
I think about you, and all you have gone through.

It’s 3:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
I don’t want to think of your leaving,
But that thought won’t go away.
But I want you to know that if you do, it’ll all be ok.

It’s 4:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
Remembering that little boy who looked up to his Daddy so.
At the ballfield, on the boat, or at a car show,
His Daddy did no wrong and always knew what to do.

It’s 5:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
Your Daddy feels so helpless now and doesn’t know this time what to do.
But he knows the Lord has a plan. And on the day Jesus does call your name,
Daddy knows you won’t hesitate to shout and stand.

It’s 6:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
Your Daddy is comforted to think, if you do go to be with the Lord first,
You’ll meet so many loved ones who have gone before.
And you will watch down on the rest of us here.

It’s 7:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
Thinking how those around you in Heaven will smile on that day,
When you turn to them and say,
“I never knew how much my Daddy looks up to me so.”

It’s 8:00 a.m. and I’m in your room,
My son, I am so blessed to have had 12 years with you.
We will see each other again soon,
Until then Jameson Casteel, your Daddy will always be in your room.

-Written for Jameson Casteel who, on October 21, 2009, left this painful, imperfect world to go to a Better Place

Jameson

Please continue to remember my cousin, Chris Casteel and his wife, Lisa and youngest son, Mitchell at this most difficult time.  We know that what Earth has lost, Heaven has gained…

Thanks,

Urgent Prayer Request for Jameson Casteel

Today, I am compelled to share a prayer request with you on behalf of my cousin, Chris Casteel and his oldest son, Jameson.  Jameson, age 12, was diagnosed October 30th of last year with ALL B-cell Leukemia.  He has fought a very difficult but valiant battle thus far.  However, in the course of the last week, Jameson has taken a turn for the worse with an infection that has now caused “septic shock”.  According to his dad’s last update, Jameson is non-responsive and has been admitted to the PCCU (Pediatric Critical Care Unit) at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Please join my family in praying that the doctors will take the most effective course of treatment quickly for Jameson’s sake…  Pray also for his mom, Lisa, dad, Chris and his little brother, Mitchell who is trying to celebrate his 10th birthday today.  To read more aboout Jameson and his family, click here

Thank you, Friends!

Ansleigh Climbing Out

WOW!!! Is it already time for this???  I was upstairs in the office when Bridget came running up in a panic.  This is what I saw when we went into the room!  Bridget had already put Ansleigh back in the crib before she came to get me.  I think that we’re gonna have to build a better mouse trap if want to keep them contained.  The girls just turned 16 months old and every day has been interesting… but I think that it is going to really get crazy now!

How old were your children when this started happening?  Any suggestions or recommendations?

Individual Soundtracks Now Available

Many of you have asked for soundtracks (accompaniment tracks) to our music.  For some time we have offered the soundtracks to all of the songs on that particular recording… and those will still be available if you prefer to have all of the songs mailed to you on a CD.  But many of you have mentioned that you only need the track to one single song!  That’s why we have made them available as an mp3 download for only $9.99 per song.  You can simply pay for the song(s) that you need and you will receive instructions on how to download the mp3 file immediately!  How cool is that? They are available under the Products tab above or by clicking here!

What else would you like to see us make available? We only know if you tell us, so give us some ideas!
